Artist Statement

I am an admirer of the common and ordinary. Line, curve, mass and color are the elements that make up what we see. First utilized in drawing, still life, human figure both still and in motion, then in a more abstract pure architectural form. Whatever the subject matter, I approach with respect and candor. Every act of viewing brings a new edition of a piece. the visual baggage we all carry with us brings an involuntary concept to each spectator. I welcome the diverse response my work elicits.
